Privacy Policy: What Happens to Your Data, Situation by Situation
Effective from 13 October 2026.
This policy explains what personal data this independent SkyHills Casino editorial site receives, why, and what you can do about it. It is organised by what you are doing at the time: reading a page, writing to us, clicking through to the casino, or asking about your data. The site is for readers aged 18 or over in the United Kingdom.
Who Is Responsible for the Data
The publisher of this site is the controller of the personal data the site itself receives. The publisher is not the casino. The casino runs its own accounts, deposits and withdrawals, and it decides for itself what it collects from a player. When you read about a €200 deposit on these pages, no account, payment or identity document is involved on our side.
If You Only Read a Page
Loading a page means your browser contacts the server that hosts the site. The server receives the technical details that any web request carries, such as your IP address, the browser and device type, the page requested and the time. We use these details to deliver the page, keep the site running and protect it from misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. You do not have to register, log in or give a name to read anything here.
Your browser settings control cookies and similar storage. Blocking them does not stop the pages from loading.
If You Write to Us
An e-mail to [email protected] gives us your address, the content of your message and anything else you choose to include. A typical message is a correction, such as noting that a figure on the payments page does not match what you see at the casino. We use the message to reply and to correct the page, and the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you and keeping the pages accurate, or your consent where you volunteer more than a reply needs.
Please do not send passwords, full card numbers or copies of identity documents. A message about the casino account itself, a payout or a bonus belongs with the casino. We keep correspondence only as long as the reply and the correction it leads to require.
A Worked Case: A Reader Reports a Wrong Figure
Suppose you read that a €500 deposit needs €35,000 of wagering and want to know why your own sum differs. You write to us with the page name and your calculation. We receive your e-mail address and the text of your message, check the arithmetic, reply, and correct the page if the figure was wrong. Nothing else about you is needed, and the exchange does not create an account, a mailing list entry or a profile.
If you later ask us to erase the exchange, we delete the message and our reply. If you only ask what we hold, we send you a copy of the same two items.
Details You Might Send Without Meaning To
Signatures, telephone numbers and forwarded message chains often travel with an e-mail. We use only what is needed to answer you. Anything extra that reaches us, such as a casino username or a screenshot showing a balance, is not needed for a correction, and we do not keep it beyond the exchange.
If You Click Through to the Casino
A link takes you to a site we do not run. From that moment the casino’s own privacy practices apply to what it collects. Its published privacy information covers identity and contact details used for account verification and identity documents used for verification, and it states that data is protected with SSL encryption on secure servers. Privacy questions about the casino go to the contact route on the casino’s own pages.
None of that data comes to us. We do not see your account, your balance, your bonus progress or the documents you upload for verification, and we do not receive them from the casino.
If You Want to Use Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to our use of it. Where processing rests on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Write to [email protected] and say which right you want to use. We normally answer within one month.
If the answer leaves you unsatisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk. The ICO helpline is 0303 123 1113.
Sharing, Security and Transfers
Data is shared only where needed to run the site, for example with the provider that hosts it, or where the law requires it. It is not sold. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep the data we hold secure. If data is processed outside the United Kingdom, we use safeguards that protect it to the standard UK law requires.
Readers Under 18
This site is meant for adults. The minimum gambling age in Great Britain is 18, and the casino itself requires players to be at least 18 and may ask for proof of age. If we learn that a message came from someone under 18, we delete it.
If Gambling Stops Being Enjoyable
Reading about bonuses does not mean you can afford them. The National Gambling Helpline (GamCare) is free on 0808 8020 133, 24 hours a day, by phone and live chat. In Wales the line is 0808 2819 265.
Changes to This Policy
Any change to the policy appears in place on this page, and the effective date at the top is updated to match. The current version applies from 13 October 2026.
